a) read the manual.

b) enable expert settings on the second page to enable advanced options on the first page.
c) you can disable the GUI using the standard tooltype for commodities. Just change the tooltype CX_PopUp to NO.
d) just change the position cycle to coords and set the coord you like.
e) to change the look, just select a new bubble within the look gadget
