BeWorld has just updated his port of FinalBurn Neo, an Emulator for Arcade Games & select Consoles. It is based on the emulators FinalBurn and old versions of MAME.

FinalBurn Neo manage over 15 000 games !!!

Here are the new features of this new version:

  • GUI: fix preview picture
  • GUI: fix window on scanning ROMs
  • support of last GIT version (12.01.2021)
  • know bug : rotation of text on vertical and flipped games

OpenBOR build 7142 ported by BeWorld

BeWorld has just updated his port of OpenBOR (Open Beats of Rage), a Beats of Rage engine.

Basically, Beats of Rage is an emulator for running the old game Streets of Rage on Megadrive. OpenBOR, on the other hand, allows you to play modified versions of Beats of Rage (MOD), that is to say fighting games created since use that use the elements of Beats of Rage.

Many games have been created by fans, including a combat version of Final Fantasy or SplatterHouse. To be able to play, you must have the games in .pak format to put in the "openbor / paks" folder.

This is changes list:

  • Compile with last MorphOS SDK 3.16 and GCC 9.3
  • Fix colors issues
  • Add OPENGL support ! yes (delete shaders)
  • Fix switch fullscreen/window
  • Add Rumble support (XBox360 gamepad)

Julius 1.6.0 ported by BeWorld

BeWorld has just released the port of Julius 1.6.0, an opensource version of Caesar III game.

Caesar III (1998, by Impression Games studio) is a city-building and management game of a Roman city in which the player (Roman governor) is charged by Caesar to develop cities throughout the Roman Empire, with increasing difficulty objectives, and hazards / events (climatic, collapsing buildings, ...). Julius is a libre and multi-platform compatible engine (requiring the original data), faithful to the original gameplay, notably providing support for large screens, touch screens and windowed mode.

BeWorld has just released the port of ScummVM 2.3.0GIT (01-01-2021) using the GCC9 compiler provided in the SDK 3.16. This news version need last SDL2 libraries and OpenGL is supported. This new version add Cloud features and file system requester support.

DungeonRush 1.1 by Ace - Pur3lam3rs

Ace from Pur3lam3rs proposes the port of DugeonRush, inspired by Snake in pure C with SDL2. The game is slow because of missing SDL2 hardware acceleration. Ace will compile the game again with accelerated graphics in two more weeks if this fixture is ready.
