Since the sunday my Mac Mini only shows me a gray screen with a Mac face, this screen is the bootMac, I enter in the OpenFirmware and I typed boot-mac but again it shows me the gray screen, the Mac doesn't reboot from the SSD hard disk neither the CDRom with the MorphOS, and now I have the problem that I not get tthis CDRom, my Mac Mini had problems with the battery but now it has a new battery and I did some changes to better the machine with a new SSD hard drive and 1GB of memory instead of mechanical hard disk and 512 MB, the new hard disk also is IDE,
where is the problem and how get the CDROM?

Do you have already installed MorphOS on the SSD ?

Maybe the harddrive is not correctly connected, maybe try to verify connection into the Mac mini.

To boot on the CD, you must hold 'c' letter at startup...

I have connect the SSD drive the problem I think is that I bough a new LCD Monitor with two inputs VGA and DVI and I read that the MacMini saves in the PRAM the changes of new devices as the volume, screen resolution etc., and perhaps the PRAM has crashed, because the keyboard with the gray screen is shows is K.O. but in the Open Firmware the keyboard is OK, perhaps the IDE controller is KO, and I want to know if there are people that have suffered this problem and they resolved it.

Have you tried to reset PRAM?

The problem is that I haven't a mac keyboard and the Logitech keys equivalent (Windows keyboard) the Alt or the Win key doesn't work, I think to buy a Mac keyboard because perhaps this keyboard has some chip to connect correctly with the MacMIni but to spend the money for nothing, humm, the Mac Keyboards are not cheap.

Thanks you for your offer, I shall try to open the Mac Mini box to see if ther for e is any problem, and I'll try to buy the keyboard here, because the shipping cost for you'll send me your keyboard perhaps will be more expensives plus the keyboard price than buy it here, I hope resolve this problem, because I thinking my days like MorphOS user arrive to end, for the next year the sam460ex, as it is a tradition for this dates November/December some of my Amiga machines die, first the first the 440ep, second the second sam440ep, the last year no but his year the MacMini/MorphOS machine. I have a good luck.... :-|

Well, I resolve the problem, after to put again the original memory simm and HD and for a hunch removed the battery I saw as my MacMIni boot with MOS, and step to spep to put again the 1GB and SSD hard drive and continue seeing the MOS, the problem as I read in this site: http://www.ifixit.com/Device/Mac_mini_%28PowerPC%29
with remove the battery the PRAM in the MacMIni is deleted more easy the command line, again I have the MOS to next time, in the way I bough one Mac Keyboard and some upset with my Amiga machines in these dates.
