After more than 2 years of development, Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working men in code business, are proud to announce the immediate availability of Hollywood 9: Sugarcane. Hollywood is a programming language that can be used to create a wide variety of programs, ranging from games and GUI-based applications for desktop systems to mobile apps for Android and iOS. Hollywood's special feature is its support for modern platforms (e.g. AmigaOS, MorphOS, AROS) and retro operating systems (e.g. Windows, MacOS, Linux) alike. It comes with a library of almost 1000 commands and its functionality can be extended further through over 30 plugins which are available for free download.
Version 9.0 is a massive update, the biggest since 6.0, and comes with many new features. Here is a non-exhaustive list of what's new in Hollywood 9.0:
Hollywood 9 is the ultimate Multimedia experience and a must-have for all creative people. Hollywood is available on CD and as a download version. Both versions include Hollywood for all supported platforms. Buying Hollywood gets you a single-user license for all 15 platforms supported by Hollywood. If you already own Hollywood, you can buy a discounted upgrade version. People who bought Hollywood 8 in 2021 can request a free upgrade.
Hollywood is the ultimate bridge between all the different AmigaOS compatible platforms and the other three modern desktop systems, Windows, macOS, and Linux! Additionally, Hollywood also supports the Android and iOS platforms. A truly unique feature is the ability to cross-compile native executables for many different platforms including: AmigaOS3, AmigaOS4, WarpOS, MorphOS, AROS (x86), Windows (x86, x64), macOS (x86, x64, ppc), Linux (x86, x64, ppc, arm), and Android/iOS with optionally available add-ons. You don't even have to own these platforms in order to compile executables for them. It's enough to run Hollywood on one of the supported platforms and then compile programs for all the others! If you are going to purchase the Hollywood Designer 5.0 SE, you should hurry up since Hollywood Designer 5.0 SE will be only available until 31.12.20. Hollywood Designer 5.0 SE is identical to the standard version of Hollywood Designer except for the fact, that the Special Edition is delivered with a special version of Hollywood 8.0 that can be only used together with the Hollywood Designer 5.0 and not as separate application.
It is thus possible to offer Hollywood Designer 5.0 SE for a significantly lower price compared with Hollywood Designer 5.0 and Hollywood 8.0 separately purchased. Of course the standard version of the Hollywood Designer 5.0 will still be available.
Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working elves in Christmas business, are back on your screen with a major update of hURL - the ultimate multi-protocol data transfer plugin for Hollywood which allows Hollywood scripts to transfer data using all kinds of different network protocols including full SSL support. Version 1.1 is a major update as it now includes full support for SFTP and SCP. Furthermore, this version contains a very important bugfix in the MorphOS version which is why MorphOS users should definitely upgrade to 1.1.
hURL supports an incredibly wide range of transfer protocols, e.g. DICT, FILE, FTP, FTPS, Gopher, HTTP, HTTPS, IMAP, IMAPS, LDAP, LDAPS, POP3, POP3S, RTMP, RTSP, SCP, SFTP, SMB, SMBS, SMTP, SMTPS, Telnet and TFTP. As with all Hollywood plugins, hURL comes with extensive documentation in various formats like PDF (over 300 pages!), HTML, AmigaGuide, and CHM that contains detailed descriptions about all functions and methods offered by the plugin.
All of this makes hURL the ultimate data transfer tool for Hollywood that contains everything you need to send and receive data via almost any transfer protocol on the planet.
hURL is now available for free download from the official Hollywood portal. Thanks to Hollywood's cross-platform plugin system versions for AmigaOS3 (m68k), AmigaOS 4, MorphOS, Linux (ppc, arm, x86, x64), macOS (ppc, x86, x64), Windows (x86, x64), Android (arm, arm64), and iOS (arm, arm64) are provided.
Note that on AmigaOS and compatibles, AmiSSL 4.x is required by hURL for SSL transfers. Since this isn't available in a native MorphOS version yet, you can just use the 68k version of AmiSSL 4 on MorphOS. It has been verified to work fine with hURL.

Code business is back. Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working men in code business, are proud to present RebelSDL 1.1. RebelSDL is a plugin for Hollywood that allows you to use SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer) from Hollywood. This makes it possible to write scripts that utilize the host system's graphics hardware to create high-performance, butter-smooth 2D animation that is produced completely in hardware by the GPU of your graphics board.
RebelSDL 1.1 is a major update which contains several important improvements over the last release. First and foremost, RebelSDL is now available for AmigaOS 4 for the very first time. This allows you to write Hollywood scripts which take advantage of the latest Warp3D Nova and OpenGL ES technologies leading to dramatic performance boosts when drawing and scaling graphics. For MorphOS, RebelSDL is now also available in a special PowerSDL version. Since SDL2 on MorphOS doesn't currently support hardware acceleration, PowerSDL is a much better choice to make use of the graphics hardware for a better drawing performance. Finally, RebelSDL for Linux ARM comes in three different flavours now: Raspberry Pi (taking advantage of the Pi's custom hardware), OpenGL and OpenGL ES. This will allow you to get the most out of the ARM Linux of your choice. On top of that, there are also some other general new features for all platforms.
RebelSDL 1.1 is now available for free download for a multitude of platforms from the official Hollywood portal. The distribution archive also contains 20 example scripts and extensive documentation in various formats (PDF, HTML, CHM, AmigaGuide).

Autumn just got awesome: Airsoft Softwair, the hardest working men in code business, are proud to present the Special Edition of Hollywood Designer 5.0. Hollywood Designer 5.0 SE is identical to the standard edition of Hollywood Designer 5.0 except that it comes bundled with a special version of Hollywood 8.0 that can only be used with Hollywood Designer but not on its own. This limitation makes it possible to offer Hollywood Designer 5.0 SE for a much cheaper price than buying Hollywood Designer 5.0 and Hollywood 8.0 separately. It is a special offer targeted specifically at people who only want to use Hollywood Designer but not Hollywood itself. For those users it is now possible to get the most advanced Amiga multimedia software suite for a much cheaper price!
Hollywood Designer 5.0 is a multimedia authoring system that runs on top of Hollywood and can be used to create all sorts of multimedia-based applications, for example presentations, slide shows, games, and applications. Thanks to Hollywood, all multimedia applications created using Hollywood Designer can be exported as stand-alone executables for the following systems: AmigaOS3, AmigaOS4, WarpOS, MorphOS, AROS, Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. Hollywood Designer is no longer limited to "just" being an authoring software, it can now also be used as a flexible graphics editor because it supports many features of modern graphics editors like multiple layers with over 30 filter effects, vector graphics, video import and export, and text processing.
